Hudghton wins accolade for second successive year
A
spectacular photograph of Loch Kishorn, Wester Ross, from the
Applecross to Ardarroch Road, taken by SNP President Ian
Hudghton MEP, has been selected for inclusion in the prestigious
calendar for 2008 produced by the Brussels-based
"Parliament Magazine".
Each
year the 785 MEPs are invited to submit photographs which they have
taken, to be considered for publication in the calendar, which will
be circulated all over the European Union.
Commenting, Mr Hudghton said
"Scotland is spectacularly beautiful and I enjoy taking photographs
on my travels, while on holiday and on constituency business around
the country.
"I am
delighted that once again my entry has been selected. With thousands
of calendars circulating across the 27 member states of the EU, I
hope that it will help to encourage people to visit our shores and
enjoy for themselves the many attractions that modern Scotland
offers."
