SNP MEP Hails Aberdeen-Brussels Link

SNP President Ian Hudghton MEP, who has an office in Aberdeen, has welcomed the announcement of a direct air route to Brussels from Aberdeen.

Mr. Hudghton said:

"As a frequent traveller to Brussels, I know that many North East residents make regular business trips to Brussels, our fishing industry representatives for example.  This direct link will be far more convenient, encouraging more people to travel to the heart of EU decision-making.  I have already booked myself on the first flight out of Aberdeen in April, and I look forward to the success of this very positive development for Aberdeen City and Shire."

Note:  Ian Hudghton MEP shares an office with MSPs Brian Adam and Maureen Watt at Great Northern Road.  He is a member of the European Parliament's Transport and Tourism, Fisheries and Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committees.
